Puppy picks typically begin around 3 weeks of age. The order in which families choose their puppy is determined by the order in which deposits are received. You're welcome to visit our kennel and make your selection in person. If you're unable to travel, we’re happy to arrange a FaceTime call to help you get to know the puppies virtually. We encourage our puppy families to visit the litter as often as they’d like. To ensure the health and safety of our puppies, we maintain strict sanitation protocols in the whelping area. Shoe covers are provided and must be worn, hand sanitizer is required before entry, and for safety reasons, children must remain seated during visits to avoid any accidental injuries to the puppies.
As soon as the puppies are born, we notify our puppy families with details on the number of puppies, their genders, and coloring. From that moment on, we keep you closely involved with regular updates—often daily—including photos, videos, and notes on weight gains and color developments. We believe in full transparency and want you to feel like part of the journey every step of the way. At Faithful Point, we do things the right way—with honesty, care, and open communication.
All of our puppies come with their first set of vaccinations, routine deworming, and are microchipped for identification and peace of mind. In keeping with breed standards, all tails are docked and dew claws are removed by a licensed veterinarian.
Our puppies go to their new homes between 7 and 8 weeks of age. To help ease the transition, we begin crate introduction around 5 weeks old. While the puppies will not be fully crate trained, they will have had a few short, positive experiences inside a crate to begin building familiarity. This early exposure can help make your pup’s first night in their new home a little smoother.
